Myshkin
Located on the steep left bank of the Volga river, Myshkin is a “hospitable” provincial town in Yaroslavl region perfectly cherishing true Russian traditions and special beauty of the Russian culture.
You’ll surely be fascinated by its unique “Mouse Museum” (by the way, the name of the town is derived from mysh ("ěűřü") meaning “mouse” in Russian). There are also Museum of Valenki (valenki are Russian felt boots), ethnographical museum, art gallery and much interesting exposition “Russian linen”.
