High time going to Astrakhan!
Traditionally September means for us not only lovely autumn leaves of various colors and apples and mushrooms’ harvest, but also two Astrakhan cruises which are effected this year on the m/s “K. Korotkov”. These cruises are for those travelers who are anxious to see more of Russia and to broaden the horizons of travel experience. During the 13 days of our Astrakhan cruises you will visit a number of the unique points of interest different by its local nationalities and religions. Thus there is Astrakhan, a city of a rich history and culture still having the impact of the Golden Horde; Kazan, the capital of the Tatarstan Republic, where the citizens are mostly of the Tartar nationality and whose confession is Islam; Cheboksary, the capital of the Chuvash Republic with the Chuvashes’ population, a Hero City Volgograd famous for the astonishing statue “The Motherland Calls” measuring 85 metres (279 ft), a town of Saratov remarkable for their particular architecture and local culture, and such significant centres of Russian long-term history and culture - Samara, Nizhny Novgorod and of course Moscow.
